How does it work ?
Advertise a carpool
Whether you're a driver looking for a passenger or a passenger looking for a driver, you are invited to submit an ad. This will be presented to any user making a request for a route compatible with yours.
Define a ride
Two simple methods are proposed to define a route.
The first one consists of inputting your starting address and your destination address in the provided fields.
If you're more "map minded", the second solution is for you: just click and zoom on the map to indicate your departure and arrival.
For reasons of clarity, prefer the second method. In general, follow the tips that appear automatically when your cursor hovers over an area. You will be rewarded with truly relevant results.
Enjoy accuracy !
The compatibility between two rides is calculated with the GPS coordinates that define them. Thus, the more accurate the places of departure and arrival are, the more relevant the match will be.
For this reason, but also to ensure a successful appointment, it is strongly advised to indicate as accurately as possible your place of departure and arrival, whether for a carpool deposit or for a carpool search.

What do you need to carpool ? The answer is quite simple : you just need to go on a trip. That's all ! You don't have a car ? Find a partner who has one. You have a car ? Find one or more passengers. Wherever roads and cars exist, YOU already belong to the carpool community, in a potential, occasional or usual way.
Because carpooling is accessible to everybody, some elementary rules should be respected. This way of riding implies a "community attitude" of mutual respect. Even if the duration of this situation is short, and whoever the car belongs to.
Carpool rules
Here are some elementary rules for a satisfying carpool experience. You could think all of them are common sense, but it is always a good idea to keep them in mind.
Be on time at the appointment. For the driver, being a few minutes late may not seem much, but it may feel a long time for the person waiting ! Please remeber this and call your partner, should you be late.
Respect the road signs, have your driving licence on you.
If you are passenger, please make sure the driver will not have to claim his money.
Have enough money with you to pay the driver.
For practical reasons, prefer cash.
